• Topics Covered: The deep spiritual meaning of the Shahada; balancing a new Muslim identity with family dynamics; building community ties; dealing with common spiritual doubts.
The spiritual purpose of prayer; step-by-step physical actions and spiritual intentions of purification (Wudu); the movements, recitations, and times of the five daily prayers.

• Course Objectives: To ease the spiritual and social transition of new Muslims into the faith community. To enable new Muslims to independently, correctly, and confidently perform Wudu and Salah at their own pace.

• Learning Outcomes: Students will confidently understand their new identity, feel spiritually grounded, and possess practical strategies to navigate family and social changes. Students will memorize the core physical movements of prayer and comfortably perform purification and the basic recitations required for daily worship.

• Tools & Materials: Support guide booklet, newcomer peer-mentorship contact list, journaling prompts. Step-by-step video tutorials, illustrated prayer mats/guides, phonetic audio tracks of short chapters.
